World Peace Garden

“I am the Peace I wish to see”

Nestled within the vibrant Bali Spirit Festival, the World Peace Garden offers a serene retreat. This annual five-day Interfaith Peace Prayer Marathon is a sacred space designed to foster peace, understanding, and harmony.

For 13 hours each day over the course of five days, a total of 65 hours, representatives from diverse faiths—Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Sikhism, Jainism, Daoism, Paganism, Animism, and Indigenous Spiritualities —come together to lead meditations, prayers, rituals, and Heirloom Sacred Wisdom teachings. By transcending religious boundaries and uniting in prayer, participants offer a beacon of hope for a world free from conflict.

The World Peace Garden invites people of all faiths and backgrounds to connect with their inner selves and offer prayers for peace. As a poignant tribute to war victims, the garden serves as a reminder of the enduring human spirit and the power of peace.

Coming Together - 2024 World PEace Garden

Bali Spirit Festival, 1-5 May 2024, Bali

Amidst a world grappling with conflict, the 2024 Bali Spirit Festival emerged as a beacon of hope and unity. The theme, "Coming Together," resonated deeply with the over 3,000 participants who gathered from around the globe.

A sanctuary of peace within the vibrant festival, the World Peace Garden invited individuals of all faiths and backgrounds to connect with their inner selves and offer prayers for global harmony.

The festival culminated in a powerful performance of the "Gospel of Peace”, a piece composed by Candice Halliday-Bryant and brought to life by a collective of artists and youth. This moving performance, inspired by the spirit of Gospel Sunday Services, resonated with the audience, leaving a lasting impression of unity, hope, and the transformative power of music.

Soundtrack: Praying for Love (War is Over) by Saul David Raye

In honor of world peace, our friend Saul David Raye, an internationally known yoga teacher, singer-songwriter and activist, has shared this song with all of us. Listen here.

“My hope is that people will be moved by the song, dance and sing along at the top of their lungs “War is Over”.” – Saul David Raye

  • Overwhelmed with joy

I am so overwhelmed with joy after experiencing the peace garden at spirit festival Bali! Each guest and speaker was so moving! Not only did the garden bring depth and breath to the event but transformations for our planet! Yoga and art should direct in focus on world healing and unity. The peace garden tied my practice into a larger mission, this made me feel richly attuned to my spiritual mission and meaningfully connected to the festival and community.
